Step into the forge and craft your own traditional fire poker to take home!
Join us to discover how to craft a handmade fire poker with the guidance of our exceptional Blacksmithing tutor, Gwyl. Learn basic blacksmithing techniques including: how to use a gas forge safely, heating, shaping and bending steel. Please note: this is a gas forge.
Two time slots are available for booking:
Morning Session: 10:30AM - 12:30PM or
Afternoon Session: 1:30PM - 3:30PM
Please note: The course fee covers access to the workshop location only and does not include entry to Erddig. Full grounds tickets can be purchased on the day, or you can use your National Trust membership card for free entry to the site.
